Job Description

The Case Managing Paralegal will support litigation attorneys by handling core case-management responsibilities, preparing legal documents, coordinating filings, and facilitating communication among clients, counsel, and the court. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with some exposure to litigation, though candidates with up to five years of relevant experience will be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • 3-6+ months of prior legal, litigation, or law-firm experience preferred (internships acceptable)
  • No more than 5 years of total legal experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation case files and maintain case calendars
  • Draft legal correspondence and routine pleadings
  • Prepare, serve, and file documents with state and federal courts
  • Assist with discovery processes, including organizing and tracking materials
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Provide general case management and administrative support to attorneys
